Anyone care to play with me? I was never truly hardcore into it but I want to play again. Don't have any old skill sets other than what I left on my heros. Kind of want to finish a lot of titles etc. but don't want to do it all alone. IGN Foxx Fire Love

Well, I can't play GW2 any more. The game just isn't as good as GW1.

If anyone needs a monk, look me up in game. IGN is Pandora Misfit. Usually on between 10PM - 12AM EST.

I am quoting this---this is NOT a discussion about which game is better. This topic is about helping people play gw1 (you can log into the guildwars2guru for discussions about helping out there). BOLD MINE

There seem to be a bunch of quite active players posting in this thread. Are you in active guilds as well?

There no particular missions or dungeons that I particularly want help with, but my guild is full of inactive players and I sometimes think it would be nice to join a more active guild instead...

I too would be interested in joining an active guild that did stuff together as groups just for fun, my hopes of finding a good SC guild have been dashed so a fun group of people that just liked to go clear areas or do dungeons sounds like a good time to me

I just miss Urgoz groups (balanced) and monking. I loaded into a few outposts lately and they were pretty dead. Real shame...

I am usually around. Been making the rounds with my Rit for titles. Helped someone who was stuck in WoC. It was fun.

I'm not pro, but don't mind helping out if I have time. (I am a busy Hubby/Dad)

I play in the EST zone. Current IGN: Jae Syn

Hi I'm new to the GW franchise. I personally think that ANET is garbage but GW1 is fun. I bought GW2 and it was not what was advertised and a bit "unrewarding" to say the least. I then decided to buy the plat ed of gw1 and I'm finding it tons of fun. I'm now trying to buy the trio pack and am not able to for some odd reason. Anyone have any advise or another place I can go to buy the game or the game code to activate the game? Thanks for your help in advance

Hey, just saw this thread. Had to remake an account as I couldn't retrieve my previous one!

Would someone be up for going trough Tyria missions (both NM and HM)? I've done all the other campaigns (including vanquish and cartographer) except for Tyria and it is about time I start doing so.

Want to get it done on my Paragon.

Give me a shout on Furious Shouts

kirot here- Currently doing a run through of Pre-Searing Ascalon for a while, but I already have a ranger on the outside, as well as a Dervish elsewhere. I'm willing to join in whenever I'm on. Arcanis Draconis and Sylph Silverhawk are my characters outside of Pre-Searing, I'm up for anything. I'm on GW2 as Lin Xie, so if you're ever there and want to go play GW1, whisper me on GW2.

On some level, I have the feeling that it would be a better idea to setup a GWG guild, so that we can get an idea of a larger player base, and been able to have an open ingame chat.

That's quite a good idea actually, I don't really like joining random ingame guilds, so for me that would definitely be an outcome.

Setting up a guild for remaining players would be an interesting idea. Though, I am not sure that people in existing (or their own) guilds would like to switch over.

An alternative would be a pseudo-guild. We create and act like a guild, but without an actual guild. We would need a forum or web site to keep things together, do events together. If that turns out good, the step to actually convincing people to all create a real guild is much easier.
